How to Reset Your Absher Password [2023]
As you know, it’s essential for all Expatriates in Saudi Arabia to have an active Absher account. So you have created an account but forgot its password? You can get it back. Don’t worry you can easily reset or recover a forgotten Absher username and password in a few steps. You can do so with or without a phone number.
The MOI Absher (The Ministry of Interior) portal lets you change or update your password. This is in case you don’t remember it or forgot it due to any reason. Please follow the below easy steps…
Steps to Reset Your Absher Password
First, go to Absher.sa official portal. Tap the “Forgot password” button. Then enter your Iqama number, mobile number, and the image code (reCaptcha). Tap Next.
On the next screen, select Passport Number as Question, then enter your passport number as Answer. Now, tap the Next button.
Absher will send you an OTP code on your registered mobile number. Enter that activation code and tap the OK button.
You will see your username and options to enter your New Password. Enter your New Password, Confirm your Password, and tap the OK button.
Great at this point you will see a success message that “The password has been changed successfully”. That is it guys, you can now go back to the login account page on Absher.sa and enter your username and new password to log in to your Absher account.
Password Requirements by Absher SA
As per Absher SA, your account password must be 8 characters long. It must contain capital and small characters with a numeric number. Special characters are not allowed but @ only. Make sure there are no numbers of your Iqama ID or any similar character. Put the words in English.
How Do I Check My Forgotten Absher Username?
In case you remember your password but forgot the username. You can still check or see it while resetting your password. Anyways, let me show you how to check your Absher username if forgotten:
Visit Absher.sa and tap the Forgot Password button. Enter your Iqama ID number, and mobile number, and select Question as your Passport number. Then enter your passport number and click the Next button. On the next screen, you will see your Username listed.
