How to Stop STC Auto Balance Deduction

STC offers lots of great packages and services for prepaid users. You may have activated some of them and you don’t even remember those plans. While you are getting messages from STC for automatic balance deduction.

Don’t worry you can deactivate or unsubscribe those Salati, unwanted data packs, and other Value Added Services with a code or using the STC official application. Even cancel their SIM card if you don’t like using it at all. Let me show you how to do that.

Stop STC Automatic Balance Deduction

You can easily deactivate all the STC unwanted services and packages with a code, using their application or by calling their helpline. Actually, there are 3 methods to do this. I will show you all of these methods to stop automatic balance cutting.

1. Use the mySTC App

It’s easy to take a look at all the active services on your SIM card number using the official mySTC application. No doubt everyone is using it these days to manage their subscription. Please follow these steps to cancel unwanted subscriptions from STC and stop automatic balance deduction:

Opne the mySTC App. Tap Manage then go to Subscriptions. You will see all the active services, Select one and tap the Unsubscribe button. You will get a confirmation SMS from STC with all the information.

2. Unsub STC Services via SMS

Step 1: Go to Message and compose a new SMS, leave it blank, and send it to 800444. Once sent, you will get an SMS from STC with all your active services listed with deactivation code each.

To deactivate an unwanted service or package, type U[space]deactivation code and reply to that SMS or send it to 800444. This will cancel that subscription and STC won’t deduct your balance automatically.

3. Call STC helpline to stop balance deduction

Instead of visiting the nearest customer care center or if you don’t use the official mySTC app, you can call the STC helpline and deactivate unnecessary services to stop balance deduction. Here is how to do it:

1. Dial 900 which is the helpline number.
2. Press 1 to serve you for your desired number.
3. Again press 1 for packages and other services.
4. Press 3 to cancel services.
5. Listen to the call and press 1 to cancel all other previous services from STC.

4. Cancel STC Value Added Services with code

You can also cancel STC Value Added Services from STC which is the main reason for the balance deduction. You can actually need such services. To cancel them all, please follow these steps:

1. Compose a new SMS.
2. Type 9910 and send it 900.
3. You will get an SMS from STC with Value Added Services activation and deactivation codes.
4. Simply reply to that SMS with “9922”.
