The Saudi government has launched a new web portal via which anyone from anywhere in the world can apply for an Umrah visa online. Thanks to the MOH (Ministry of Hajj) for this amazing work. However, you are here to know the complete procedure to apply for an Umrah visa online from Pakistan, India, the Philippines, Bangladesh, the UK, the US, UAE, and almost anywhere in the world. In this article, I will show you the step-by-step procedure to do so. So, that you can never overpay anyone for your Umrah ticket, and e-visa. But to get yourself with ease. Now, let’s get to the procedure to do so…
Umrah Visa Requirements
Before we get to know how you can apply, it is important to know the requirements of an Umrah visa. These requirements are not that much, but after all, you are traveling to another country. Anyways, here are the requirements for an Umrah visa:
- A valid passport with 6 months of validity.
- Your photographs of passport size.
- Children and women must visit the Kingdom for Umrah with husbands, fathers, or anybody a woman is Mehram with (know each other).
How to Apply for Umrah Visa Online (2023)
There are a total of 6 easy steps you need to follow in order to apply for an Umrah visa online. Don’t worry I will guide you through all these steps. Before you do so keep the above requirements in mind. However, here is how to apply for an Umrah visa online from anywhere in the world:
#1: Select Travel Agency via Maqam
So, the very first thing you need to do is to visit the government’s official web portal Maqam, and select a travel agency, you can choose UmrahPro or Flynas the choice is yours. However, for the demo purpose, I will select Flynas.
#2: Enter the Required Info and Click Search
On the Flynas website, you need to select the departure airport, (for example, Islamabad Aiport), Departure date, choose how many nights you will stay, number of guests, and click the Search button when you are done.
#3: Select a Hotel to stay
Now you will have the option to select a hotel for staying there in Mecca, When you like one, click the More details button, then click the Select this Room option. Don’t forget to check each detail of the place and it’s the Hotel benefits and instructions, e.g. check-in and check-out timings, etc. Then scroll down on the same page and the Continue button.
#4: Choose a Transportation Package
On the next screen, select the transportation package. I will suggest you choose Jeddah, Mecca, and Jeddah. Once you agree, click the click Select button. After that, scroll down and click the Continue button at the bottom.
#5: Enter the Personal details
Now enter your personal details, for example, your name, nationality, country of residence, email and phone number, and others if required. After that, click the Continue button. You will be redirected to the payment page.
#6: Pay the fee
On the payment page, review everything and you will need to pay the required fee (you saw it before on the summary page). So, enter your credit or debit card details, confirm the transaction, and pay the payment.
Your account will be created on the Flynas website and you can all the submitted information from your account. however, now you need to submit that application to the government to get an Umrah e-visa.
#7: Submit the application to MOFA
Once done with printing and all details, download the information from the Flaynas website. and also keep a print of your passport, photographs, etc, and submit it to the MOFA (Ministry of Foreign Affairs) website online.
Once they confirm everything and issue your Umrah visa. You will get an email with the Visa details. Now you can print it and visit the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with an Umrah Visa.
