Activate Etisalat Roaming UAE

There are four available methods to activate the roaming service on the Etisalat UAE network. For prepaid users, the roaming service is active by default. You can simply dial this code *177# or send an SMS “ROAM” to 1010 to get a subscription/package. Arabic users can SMS “ROAMA” to 1010 to activate the roaming service with a pack. Postpaid users can send SMS with “ASROAM” to 1010 for international roaming package activation.

Alternatively, you can install the official My Etisalat App for the roaming service activation and get daily, weekly, and monthly plans on the go. Keep in mind that there are charges when you dial *177# to activate the roaming or get the desired plan. However, if you wanna activate the service via SMS, then, standard rates will apply.

Once you visit another country, Etisalat will automatically pick the network operator. However, sometimes you will need to manually pick a network operator. Here is how to do it: Go to Settings, then Sim Card, and or Mobile Network. Then disable the toggle next to “Automatically select network” and tap an available network to select your default network operator.
